About Victoria Powell (aka iVY)
Bio
A young renaissance woman of Generation Z, 25-year-old Victoria Ivy Powell proves you can excel in several areas of life. Communications, athletics, and music serve as the major areas to which Victoria displays her passion and dedication to excellence. After successful stints as a Communications Manager and a Resource Manager at two local Portland, Oregon organizations, she moved back to her native east coast in 2022 for a golden opportunity to serve as a production assistant on ESPN’s SportsCenter Enhancement Unit.
Victoria’s blossoming career in sports production is backed by her solid academic and athletic achievements. Armed with scholarships and a drive to excel, Victoria graduated a year early with honors from Baylor University—earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in broadcast. She continued her studies and earned a master’s degree in Emerging Media from the University of Georgia. Victoria competed for the women’s track and field team at Baylor and UGA, receiving All-American and All-Academic Honors.
Victoria attributes the discipline she applied to her 18-year participation in track and field and three years as a center and forward in basketball as the key to her overall success. Now as a communications professional, she utilizes her knowledge and skills to highlight captivating sports stories for U.S. audiences.
Victoria’s storytelling is also expressed as a music artist known as iVY, whose neo-soul, jazz-influenced, R&B lyrics and vocals convey themes of self-empowerment and self-love. iVY enjoys songwriting, collaborating on projects with producers, and performing her songs—most of which are available on all major digital music platforms.
iVY is currently working on her single, "Whole,” with Billboard charting producer Art The Great under Midtown Road Music.
